so we started seeing bottles sticking out of the ground in the backyard. after digging aroud for awhile we have found almost 50 of them. i think along time ago when they didnt have trash pick up the hawaiians would dig a hole and put the garbage in it. ive also found some old kids toys and some coins. my kids dig around the dirt with a spoon looking for teasure. its soooo fun! everytime i find a bottle i cant help but think of the women in the past who have lived here and cared for their children and what their lives were like.
Stephanie, that is so cool. That is really what people did once. In virgina, old plantations started going through buried rubbish piles and found really cool stuff. Your treasure is really amazing.
